We're seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to spearhead this project and ensure the seamless transition of financial records. Key Responsibilities: Lead the reconciliation efforts for Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Journal Entries, and Trial Balance. Focus on AP/AR transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Utilize your expertise to navigate Peachtree and ODOO systems, though prior experience is not mandatory. Job Summary: As our Bookkeeper, you'll be instrumental in preparing and maintaining financial records, tracking assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax liabilities. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial data. General Accountabilities: Conduct general cost accounting and related financial duties. Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements. Manage the general ledger and reconcile accounts. Coordinate with software vendors to maintain and enhance accounting software systems. Timely submission of financial information to our CPA on a monthly basis. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Minimum of three years of relevant experience required. Proficiency in Peachtree and ODOO systems advantageous. Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting principles. Ability to prepare tax reports accurately. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Experience with manufacturing and ERP systems is a plus. Schedule & Compensation: Full-time position with a salary range of $25-$28 per hour, commensurate with experience. Standard 8:00 – 5:00 shift, Monday to Friday. On-site work required; remote work not available. Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts. Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit. Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies. Coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software systems; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software. Manages the purchasing and invoicing system. Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures. Timely submittal of financial information to CPA on a monthly basis.
