We are seeking a diligent and proactive Credit and Collection Specialist to join our finance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the credit and collections process, assess customer creditworthiness, monitor accounts receivable, and ensure timely payments from customers. 100% IN OFFICE, LOCATED IN 32216salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities Evaluate customer credit applications and conduct credit checks to assess creditworthiness. Establish credit limits and payment terms for new and existing customers in accordance with company policies. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up with customers on past due invoices. Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner. Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and concerns related to billing and collections. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment agreements. Prepare and distribute collection letters and notices as necessary. Work with external collection agencies and legal counsel as needed to recover outstanding debts. Analyze collection trends and recommend process improvements to minimize delinquency and improve cash flow. Provide regular updates and reports on accounts receivable status and collection efforts to management.
