Engineering Workers: Positively Whistling While They Work

Engineers reported the most positive and optimistic attitudes towards their jobs, the economy and their company. More than two-thirds believe they will get a raise in 2012 (68 percent) and the job market will pick up (69 percent).

Engineers are also the most committed to their organization and willing to make sacrifices, such as working longer hours without a pay increase, to keep their jobs if necessary.
