Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and electrical schematics;
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance;
- Assist in installation, remodeling, retrofits and rehabilitates equipment and buildings as needed;
- Communicate with the various Maintenance departments to maintain a productive and satisfying work environment;
- Inspect equipment and notify management and or Engineering of any hazards or defects;
- Responds to work orders and ride downtime calls in a timely manner;
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain all manners of electrical components;
- Disassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systems;
- Performs electrical problem solving and assists with all aspects of electrical troubleshooting;
- Use computer systems to perform diagnostics on electronic components and PLC system;
- Uses appropriate tools, such as multi meter, ampere meter, hand and power tools, etc;
- Bend conduit and replace old wiring;
- Uses skills and abilities to identify faulty equipment and identify parts and equipment needed to complete repairs;
- Installs/repairs control and distribution mechanisms, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, as well as conduit and wire;
- Repairs critical equipment, performs preventive and predictive maintenance, and completes projects such as electrical hardware upgrades.
