Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on pharmaceutical production machinery and packaging machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with production and packaging equipment, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to resolve problems promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems, controls, and components to detect and prevent potential failures or hazards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
- Document maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and calibration procedures, accurately recording equipment history and performance metrics for future reference.
- Participate in training programs and skill development initiatives to stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance in all maintenance activities.
- Prioritize workload and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner, effectively managing competing priorities to meet production schedules and minimize production disruptions.
