We are looking for an energetic Accounts Receivable Specialist who loves working in a fast-paced environment. The objective of the Accounts Receivable Specialist is to maintain collections for all customers, investigate return issues with credit memos, post cash, and provide support to the accounting department and internal and external customers.This position involves working in a professional office environment where standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines are used regularly. Although the work is sedentary, some filing is required, which may involve moving physical files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or standing, as necessary.salary: $24 - $26 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities• Investigate new customer credit applications. • Collections of past due accounts and contact with customers regarding account issues. • Monitors past due accounts change in shipments due to nonpayment and credit hold. • Generates daily and weekly reports. • Generates, analyzes, and distributes customer statements of accounts, as needed. • Post payments for all customers. • Investigate short payments & debit memos. • Review RGAs and process credit memos. • Maintains customer “Bill-to” and “Ship-to” files in Axapta. • Monitors sales orders for pricing discrepancies. • Monitors trade agreements for accuracy. • Oversees the invoicing and filing of all A/R, credit, and billing documents. • Back up for A/P Specialist. • Performs other duties as assigned.The essential functions of this role include: working in a smoke free environment Skills Basic Accounts ReceivableAccounts ReceivableAccounts PayableBasic Software Skills Qualifications Years of experience: 2 yearsExperience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
