Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources/Payroll Administrator. In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting the HR department and ensuring the efficient operation of HR and Payroll processes and procedures. Education and Experience: Associate’s degree in a related field preferred. Prior office and administrative experience preferred. Payroll experience preferred. salary: $45,760 - $52,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Respond to frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc., and refer more complex inquiries to senior-level HR staff or management. Preserve the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Conduct periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure all required documents are collected and filed properly. Provide clerical support to the HR department. Assist with new hire orientation. Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation, and maintain I-9 files. Aid in new-employee background checks and other onboarding tasks. Assist with the planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, etc. Perform payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, correcting processing errors, and distributing checks. Review and adjust timekeeping information to ensure accuracy. Perform withholdings including wage garnishments and voluntary contributions to benefits programs, among others.
