We are currently seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials within our facility. This includes receiving, storing, picking, and distributing materials and products to various departments or production lines as needed. Proven experience as a material handler or in a similar role. Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management practices. Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts. strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting. Working Conditions: The Material Handler will primarily work in a warehouse or distribution center environment. May be exposed to varying temperatures, loud noises, and other environmental factors. Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Shifts Available First Shift: 7AM-3:30PM Second Shift 10:00AM-6:30PM (subject to change) salary: $16 - $18 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Receive incoming materials and products from suppliers, verifying accuracy and quality. Store materials in designated locations within the warehouse or storage area, ensuring proper organization and inventory management. Retrieve materials from inventory as requested by production teams or departments, using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment. Prepare and package materials for shipment to customers, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation. Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to the appropriate personnel. Inspect incoming materials and products for damage, defects, or discrepancies. Report any issues or concerns regarding material quality to supervisors or quality assurance personnel. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while handling materials, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
