Responsibilities
- Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions and employee issues.
- Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations to ensure that safety rules and procedures are strictly followed.
- Provides training, technical expertise and coaching for department employees as needed.
- Reviews material and production requirements needed to meet daily production requirements.
- Provides hands-on assistance and works in a production capacity as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Ability to read and comprehend part drawings.
- Purchase needed MRO, Machine parts, tooling and tool cage items.
- Conduct Daily huddle board meetings.
- Work with outside machine manufacturers and vendors to solve issues.
- Use department resources to troubleshoot and repair all equipment.
- Provide Building infrastructure support (interior & exterior).
- Schedule maintenance personnels daily tasks through IMaint and ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Assist in installation of new equipment and removal of old equipment.
- Assist with implementation of new machine preventative maintenance procedures and scheduling in CMMS.
- Assist with Implementation of new machine and existing machine LOTO procedures.
- Work overtime as needed.
