job summary: We have a client looking for someone dedicated to creating world-class electrical designs for robotic systems targeted for the Defense and Security markets. We are seeking a versatile, self-motivated, and experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to join our Electrical Engineering Department. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assembling, reworking, testing, debugging, and repairing PCBAs (SMT & thru-hole) and cable assemblies. Additionally, they will manage the EE Lab, coordinate with external vendors, and support various testing and data collection activities. Requirements: Associate Degree in electronics or other 2-4 year technical degree, or equivalent military technical school.5+ years constructing circuit cards, cable harnesses, prototypes, and custom test stations.5+ years working with schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions.5+ years of experience working with test equipment including oscilloscopes, DVMs, power supplies, function generators, active loads, and data acquisition systems.Highly-engaged, flexible, responsive, and proactive.Ability to manage multiple work assignments in a fast-paced work environment.Ability to meet timelines, milestones, and deliverables and provide timely status updates, complete work accurately and on schedule.Ability to independently conduct board or system-level testing and create detailed written test reports.Experience using ECAD applications for viewing schematic drawings and PCB layouts, preferably in Altium.Experience with MS Office Suite Tools.
