We are seeking a Technology Director to lead our school's technology initiatives and infrastructure. This role involves developing and maintaining our long-term technology plan, integrating technology into the curriculum, and overseeing technology training for faculty and staff. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive long-term technology strategy. Partner with the Director of Innovation to integrate technology into the curriculum. Facilitate and oversee professional development in technology for staff. Keep abreast of current technology trends and their implications in education. Ensure the responsible and ethical use of technology within the school. Plan, manage, and maintain network hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Establish and manage annual and long-term technology budgets. Lead, support, and evaluate the technology team. Oversee the management of computer hardware, software, network infrastructure, and servers. Research, assess, and maintain all school technology systems. Regularly update and enforce technology-related policies and procedures. Administer and support the information system (Blackbaud). Coordinate technology support for special events and functions. Seek out and secure grants for technology-related funding. Conduct and lead technology team meetings and represent the department at various events. The ideal candidate will be innovative, stay abreast of emerging technologies, and ensure cybersecurity.
