Leading global biotech company is looking for a SEC/Financial Reporting Manager. Newly created due to growth. Reporting to the External Reporting Director, you will play a key role in driving external reporting and technical accounting activities. You will also own the US accounting operations. In this highly visible role, you will be a technical expert who prescribes guidance and educates the broader team on accounting topics. You will also have the opportunity to drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiencies and collaboration among our global teams. You will grow deep technical knowledge, develop well-rounded skills, and have a meaningful impact on our teams and the Company.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of Form 10-Q, 10-K, and other SEC filings, and Hong Kong interim and annual filings, including financial statements, footnotes, MD&A and other disclosures. Ensure compliance with SEC and Hong Kong reporting rules through the accurate and timely filing of required documents.
- Stay current on all pending/new accounting and regulatory requirements. Participate in the implementation, development, and maintenance of policies and procedures as needed.
- Participate in the evaluation and determination of significant and complex transactions and how financial statements and related disclosures will be impacted. Conduct technical research and draft accounting memorandums.
- Assist with setting and maintaining compliance with SOX requirements.
- Coordinate interim reviews and annual audits with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

- CPA
- 5+ years of related experience
- Experience with biotech industry a plus but not required
- Possess strong organizational skills and can prioritize tasks and duties in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, SEC, IFRS
