A Project Engineer/Lead is needed for a utility holding company in the Pueblo, CO area. The Project Engineer/Lead role involves applying extensive technical expertise to lead complex projects, develop innovative solutions, and serve as the prime technical contact, coordinating and overseeing multiple projects while providing guidance, mentorship, and resolving technical challenges with precision.

responsibilities:
- Applies technical expertise to lead projects of moderate to large size, scope, and complexity.
- Develops new or improved techniques, procedures, and standards.
- Provides ongoing technical support for project activities in areas such as Operations, Maintenance, Testing/diagnostics, and Regulatory.
- Coordinates and leads multiple projects or project phases.
- Represents the organization in bid/evaluation processes and interacts with senior external personnel.
- Resolves difficult technical/business matters with precision.
- Assigns tasks to and/or directs engineers, technicians, and other support staff.
