Responsibilities
- Develop working relationships with all levels of company management to help identify employment needs and provide consulting advice on talent issues and trends.
- Build and update recruitment processes & procedures that align with the organization’s hiring needs and business goals
- Manage the selection process and act as the point of contact for internal and external candidates
- Provides directive oversight and close support to hiring managers to develop and execute sound selection/interviewing skills and processes
- Communicates with hiring managers to establish short, long-term recruiting objectives and develop corresponding recruiting strategy
- Appropriately screens higher level candidates and provides recommendations to hiring manager
- Effectively maintains applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate database
- Actively seeks to diversify talent sources to consistently attract the best talent in the industry.
- Evaluate and recommend use of objective assessment tools used in hiring decisions
- Creates relevant talent / recruiting metrics
- Uses professional networks to source qualified candidates
- Builds and maintains beneficial relationships with talent acquisition resources
- Leads and attends industry and university job fairs and other recruitment events
- Assist with onboarding new employees
- Participate and/or lead special projects as assigned
- Maintains knowledge and understanding of labor laws and regulations in all areas of
operation
