Responsibilities
- Collect, calculate, and enter payroll data accurately and in a timely manner
- Verify timekeeping records and ensure accuracy of hours worked
- Process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and deductions
- Review and reconcile payroll discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate payroll records and files
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed
