Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule appointments and assist patients with check-in and check-out processes
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments as necessary
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality of information
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and address any scheduling issues
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry as needed
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards at all times
