Responsibilities
As a Budget Project Coordinator, job duties include:
- Manage project-level financials, including purchase orders, scopes of work, project budgets, and operating expense allocation coordination and tracking.
- Serve as the primary liaison between agencies, vendors, legal, multichannel marketing team budget owners, AP, purchasing, finance, accounting, and procurement to address any issues related to contracts, POs, accruals, and payments.
- Coordinate SOW processing, procurement, and legal system coordination, and ensure coordination of approved POs with agencies/vendors.
- Monitor project spend against budget using tracking codes in SAP (ARIBA).
- Monitor submission of invoices from agencies/vendors and follow up with relevant team members prior to monthly and quarterly close.
- Manage monthly accrual process in collaboration with relevant team members and Finance BPs, providing status updates to PO owners prior to monthly and quarterly close.
- Prepare monthly budget reports with commentary on budget line items favorability/unfavorability for Multichannel Marketing Partners, Finance, and Marketing Leads.
- 5+ years working as a Budget Project Coordinator for a Nationwide Organization
- Advanced PC literacy with skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience and expertise with Ariba.
- Proven ability to work with cross functional teams.
