Responsibilities
- Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products and component parts.
- Inspects material, parts and products at different stages of production.
- Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the electronics field.
- Ability to use basic hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges etc.)
- Knowledge of Standard IPS-A-610 acceptability of electronic assemblies
- J-STD-001 requirements for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies
- In process inspection of board assemblies and cable assemblies
- Final inspection of top-level units
- Able to use Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Excel, & Word
