Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the inspection department and staff in quality compliance tasks, including the performance of First Article Inspection Reports
- Ensure that our Quality Management System conforms to customer and AS9100 / ISO 9001, Nadcap, AWS and regulatory requirements.
- Work with customers, suppliers and employees to develop product requirements
- Oversee and respond to internal and customer rejects, including performing Root Cause Analyses and responding to Corrective Action Requests.
- Present progress reports to Top Management on the Quality Management System (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement
- Supervise quality system reviews and revisions as needed.
- Establish strategic plans, policies, and procedures to ensure that the quality. program will meet or exceed internal and external customer needs and expectations.
- Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are well established, implemented and maintained.
- Develop, review, and revise quality standard operating procedures as needed.
- Monitor the quality system across the business.
- Certified Quality Inspector preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements and implementation
- Ability to gather, review, and analyze data
- Management experience

- Willingness to work with all departments to develop quality plans, improvements and solutions.
