Responsibilities
- Operate blending and mixing equipment to accurately combine pharmaceutical ingredients according to formulation specifications.
- Monitor blending processes to ensure uniform distribution of ingredients and adherence to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
- Set up and operate tablet compression machines to produce tablets of various sizes and shapes.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to achieve desired tablet characteristics, including hardness, thickness, and weight.
- Conduct in-process checks to verify tablet quality and identify any deviations from standards.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Perform in-process inspections and sampling to ensure compliance with quality specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Document all production activities accurately and timely in accordance with company policies.
