Production Team Lead – Printing/Etching Shifts Available: 1st shift, 8-hour shifts. Overtime as needed, 23+, Bi-Weekly Pay + Benefits (Health, 401k, Gym, PTO)
As a Production Team Lead at Randstad, based at our Buffalo Grove Distribution Center, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our printing and etching processes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity within our production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the physical and electronic processing of production orders using specialized printing and etching equipment.
- Ensure on-time completion of orders and assist with other production functions and support for other business areas as needed.
- Change equipment fixtures for etching and pad printing machines, and mix daily ink recipes.
- Monitor equipment such as oven temperatures and cleanliness of oil bathing stations.
- Program laser graphics per work order and inspect finished goods for quality assurance.
- Manage daily work schedules and KPIs, ensuring that production operations are streamlined and efficient.
- Assist in training new team members and support ongoing skill development across the production team.
- MUST HAVE LASER EDGING & PRINTING EXPERIENCE!!!

Responsibilities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; 2-3 years of warehousing/production experience, preferably in a kitting or assembly environment.
- Proven leadership experience in a production assembly environment.
- Experience with pad printing or laser etching is highly desirable.
- Solid mathematical skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
