Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid heavy equipment operator's license or certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the mining or construction industry.
- Proven experience operating skid steers, track loaders, excavators, and wheel loaders.
- Understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
- strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Physical stamina for long hours of sitting, standing, and operating machinery.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Operate machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, cranes, and other specialized equipment efficiently and safely.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing PPE, conducting pre-operation inspections, and adhering to established safety procedures.
Maintenance and Inspections: Perform routine maintenance checks, report malfunctions promptly, and coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs.
Material Handling: Use heavy equipment to move, load, unload, and transport materials like soil, rocks, debris, and construction or mining materials as needed.
Site Preparation: Clear and level land, excavate trenches, dig foundations, and perform grading operations according to project plans and specifications.
Project Support: Collaborate with team members, including construction crews, supervisors, engineers, and surveyors, to support project tasks and meet deadlines.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, pre-shift inspections, fuel consumption, maintenance activities, and incidents as required by company policies.
Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, follow instructions, provide status updates, and report any issues related to equipment operation or site conditions.
Compliance with Regulations: Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding equipment operation, environmental standards, and occupational health and safety.
