Powder Coater Job Type: Full-Time Location: Kenosha, WI
Join our team in Kenosha, WI, as a Powder Coater, where your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our powder coating operations. This role is key to ensuring the adherence to production schedules and maintaining our high standards for finished products.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate manual and automatic powder guns and equipment for optimal quality and efficiency, including performing manual touch-ups on metal components.
- Rework rejected parts as necessary to ensure quality standards.
- Conduct pre-startup maintenance and routine shutdown procedures for powder guns and booths, following preventative maintenance schedules and coordinating with the maintenance department when required.
- Meet production schedules and contribute ideas to enhance department throughput.
- Adhere to safety rules and practices, ensuring team compliance, and actively participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the work area and report any abnormalities in equipment, machines, or processes.
- Engage in cross-training to support back-up efforts as directed by management.
- 1-2+ years of experience in powder paint finishing systems in a manufacturing environment.
- High level of initiative and dependability.
- Flexibility to perform overtime and adjust schedules as needed.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work within a team environment.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
