WE have a great opportunity for a Assembly Team Leader in Fort Lauderdale, FL! The Assembly Team Lead is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily operations related to copper material preparation, including cutting, bending, brazing, kitting, and ensure CNC machines used in copper tube forming and cutting are properly operated and maintained in the manufacturing of HVAC equipment. This position ensures safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met while leading and mentoring a team to achieve production targets. Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM (1st Shift) Pay Range: starts at $21 an hour-- expect occasional overtime and staying late when neededsalary: $43,680 - $54,080 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Coordinate daily activities of the Assembly Line team with the Area Supervisor. Act as a mentor and trainer to new associates and those undergoing cross-training. Utilize basic Bosch Production System (BPS) principles to optimize processes. Ensure on-time delivery of components to assembly lines. Perform hands-on assembly work, including: Reading and understanding work instructions and product drawings. Using manual and power tools. Conducting functional tests and inspections. Identifying defects and managing non-conforming materials. Reworking units as necessary. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and apply work instructions, follow safety and quality procedures. Manufacturing experience in assembly and/or CNC machine operation preferred.Strong leadership skills, able to coordinate tasks for 10-15 people. Flexibility to work in other departments when requested. Willingness to work overtime when necessary. Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
