We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Manufacturing Molding Supervisor to lead our 2nd-shift team. In this role, you won't just manage from a desk. You will be the go-to technical leader on the floor, ensuring our molding work cells run efficiently, safely, and at peak quality.Key Responsibilities Lead & Develop: Manage, coach, and counsel team members, providing the consistent feedback and training they need to succeed. Technical Execution: Handle mold changes, job set-ups, and machine start-ups while establishing and maintaining strict molding parameters. Troubleshoot & Problem Solve: Diagnose machine and mold issues on the fly, and partner with engineering to clear production roadblocks. Quality & Efficiency: Monitor throughput, evaluate part quality against specifications, and ensure all materials and auxiliary equipment are perfectly dialed in. Safety First: Maintain safe correct behaviors across the floor while consistently driving toward production goals. What You Bring to the Table Experience: 3–5 years of leadership experience specifically within a plastic molding environment. Technical Expertise: plastic processing skills and a high aptitude for advanced mechanical troubleshooting. Education: High School Diploma or GED required (a 2-year degree is preferred). Skills: Proficient with Windows-based applications, highly adaptable, and a good communicator who can balance tactical execution with team leadership. salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per yearshift: Secondwork hours: 3 PM - 11 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Accountable for the execution of the production plan which includes the technical requirements in the molding work cell; specifically: Set-up and start-up of molding jobs and auxiliary equipment, Molding Parameters, Water Diagrams, and Materials Training and development of employees who operate our equipment and assembly processes.
