This role supports electric utility design projects through drafting, field data collection, and documentation using CAD/GIS tools, requiring a high school diploma, basic technical experience, and a willingness to learn and work in both office and field settings. location: Orlando, Florida job type: Contract salary: $18.42 - 24.00 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: High School responsibilities: Prepare and edit electric distribution design drawings from field data and engineering input.Use AutoCAD, GIS, and other proprietary tools for design development.Perform basic field data collection (e.g., pole measurements, photos, GPS logging).Update drawings and input data into project databases.Assist in assembling permit packages and easement documents.Conduct basic pole loading analysis (with training).Perform self-checks on work before formal quality reviews. Skills: AutoCAD, AUD, GIS.Google Earth.Pole loading tools (e.g., O-Calc, Pole foreman).Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).Proprietary design and data collection platforms (training provided).
