This role is responsible for proposing and executing creative ideas for marketing and business development purposes, in collaboration with the Business Development and Marketing Manager, and will support marketing and business development initiatives planned in the office. Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications or marketing.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing, communications or event planning.strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.Demonstrated writing, editing and proofreading skills. location: Chicago, Illinois job type: Permanent salary: $55,000 - 65,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Organize, execute, and provide support for programs, conferences, webinars, and receptions aimed at clients and prospects in the region.Work with lawyers and the marketing team to identify and capitalize on event and sponsorship opportunities, overseeing the preparation of related materials and presentations.Develop mailing and invitation lists, manage approvals, and create event invitations in collaboration with the design team.Coordinate and lead pre-planning and debriefing meetings with stakeholders, and establish and measure event success metrics.Oversee and manage sports and event tickets for client entertainment, acting as the primary contact for all ticket requests both inside and outside the office.Collaborate with marketing staff, the Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager, and Firm lawyers to strategically distribute firm tickets for business development.Keep accurate records of ticket usage and coordinate with the accounting department to document expenses correctly; support the Senior Marketing Manager in monitoring ticket use and overall utilization.Assist in drafting and reviewing lawyer biographies, event materials, and pitch documents.Work with lawyers to create and distribute client communications, including new lawyer announcements, invitations, and newsletters.Draft content for the website, intranet, and internal communications.Identify relevant state and regional speaking engagements and other credentialing opportunities for lawyers, and assist in preparing required materials.Support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives and events that advance the Women and Diversity programs.Use firm technology to document and track marketing activities.Collaborate with the creative team to produce collateral materials for sponsorships and advertisements.Help select, procure, and manage the inventory of firm promotional items for marketing purposes.Support special projects as requested by the Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager, department management, and lawyers.Assist in training lawyers and professional staff on LinkedIn and other marketing-related tools.
