Industrial Maintenance Manager – Cold Storage Facility (Ammonia Systems Focus) We’re seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at a fast-paced cold storage facility. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in technically demanding environments and understands the critical nature of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems. If you have deep experience with ammonia systems and hold the required EPA certification, this is an opportunity to step into a high-impact role with visibility and career growth.salary: $125,000 - $150,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 6:30 AM - 3 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Lead and manage the maintenance team, including technicians and contractors Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs Oversee maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems (e.g., ammonia or Freon-based systems) Ensure continuous operation of cold storage systems, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical equipment Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to reduce downtime Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and spare parts Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards Develop and enforce safety procedures, especially for hazardous systems like ammonia refrigeration Coordinate with operations to minimize disruptions and support facility throughput Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reporting systems Lead emergency response efforts for equipment failures or system issues Support capital projects, upgrades, and facility expansions The essential functions of this role include:working up to 10 hrs of overtime per weekSkillsEPA Universal (1 year of experience is required)Ammonia (10 years of experience is preferred)Industial Maintenance Manager (6 years of experience is required)Warehouse (6 years of experience is required)QualificationsYears of experience: 5 yearsExperience level: ManagerRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
