Growing Global Pharmaceutical Company seeks a Controller to lead one of their US Subsidiaries.

responsibilities:
- Supervise the accounting team responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, and budget preparation.
- Oversee the Accounting department, including budget preparation and audit functions.
- Ensure the timely production of periodic financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards.
- Manage tax planning throughout the fiscal year and complete the annual corporate tax return.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, collaborating with external auditors as necessary.
- Provide recommendations to management regarding both short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
- Conduct financial analysis focusing on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal government requirements.
- Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
- Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Review the planning process and propose enhancements to current methods.
- Manage Product Costing and Recovery.
- Perform other relevant duties as required or assigned.
qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years experience with at least 3+ years working for a Pharmaceutical or Consumer Products Company.
- CPA highly desired.
- Proficiency in database and accounting computer applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting rules and regulations.
- Ability to effectively utilize accounting software systems, or Finance.
