responsibilities:
- The selected candidate will execute hands on scientific research focused on characterization of recombinant AAVs and the expression on transgenes in various biological assays.
- The individual will have experience in developing and optimizing broad and versatile biochemical and molecular biology assays (such as ELISA, WES, PCR).
- The individual will perform functional assays to generate data and help our understanding of drug properties.
- The individual will summarize and graph experimental data from experiments, keep accurate electronic records of activities, and timely report experimental results.
- The ideal candidate should be a team player, self-motivated, well organized and attention to details.
qualifications:
- Master's degree in molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or other relevant biological sciences with at least 1 years' experience or Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in cell biology and biochemical assays such as cell culture, ELISA and Western-blot.
- Experience with viral handling techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently on assigned research tasks, anticipate problems and propose potential solutions
- Ability to present findings to a group.
- Strong documentation skills.
