Responsibilities
- Generate journal entries to accurately record monthly activity.
- Process invoices/debit memos, ensuring adherence to approved expense authorization levels.
- Conduct general ledger account analysis as assigned.
- Handle various payment methods, including manual checks, ACH’s, Virtual Credit Card, Physical Credit Card, and Wire Payments.
- Actively participate in month-end closing processes.
- Uphold a positive customer service approach in interactions with operations, the customer contact center, and other internal departments.
- Assist in posting transactions to general ledgers and perform additional clerical functions like filing, scanning, or research as needed.
- Oversee and manage special projects and analysis tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Finance/Accounting within a large company environment.
- Knowledgeable in general accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with JD Edwards accounting software or other large ERP Systems.
