Responsibilities
As an electrical project manager you would be responsible for overseeing the design, installation and supply of electrical systems. Day-to-day, you'd draw up schedules, allocate time, resource and budget, as well as manage staff to ensure work is completed on time, to a high standard.
- Submitting and reviewing pricing packages to suppliers, distributors, and sub-contractors
- Participating in tender closing activities with duties including: create a quote outlining our inclusions/exclusions for a tender, review all bills of material for job closings, assist with the final cost preparation on closing day and submit our bids to clients
- Assist with client & design team management/relationship development
- Assist in project strategy & implementation
- Manage master budget and project budget
- Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed
- Keep track of inventory, tools, and equipment
- Prepare reports regarding job status and resolve any problems that may arise
- Attend project meetings and site reviews
