Responsibilities
Responsible for all quality matters related to project development. Define and establishes together with the customer the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). Function is to assure the customer Advanced Quality requirements during the product and process development process and to act as a liaison between the Customer and the Plant Quality Manager.
- Responsible for determining the latest customer standards
- during the quote phase and project development.
- Manages Validation Plans according to the norms and test methods indicated on drawings.
- Support product engineering during the design and manufacturing feasibility (Customer standards criteria,
- lessons learned etc.)
- Review drawing and communicate issues to NA product engineering manager and design team.
- Establishes the documentation system necessary according to the Customer’s procedures and requirements. (Check
- and update the customer portal)
- Prepare and submit the PPAP, New product approvals and PSW’s.
- Championing the problem solving any issues during project development and launch.
- Support customer visits for validations (Run @ rate, phased validations, capacity runs etc.)
- Negotiates the plans for the SPC process monitoring
- Identifies testing requirements for the new projects as per the latest customer specification.
- Supports product engineers and coordinate the validation of the engineering changes.
- Responsible for updating the project lab planner.
- Other duties as assigned
