Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Regular maintenance of automation equipment to prevent downtime. Quick diagnosis and repair of any malfunctions or breakdowns in the automation systems.
- Installation & Calibration: Setting up new automation equipment and ensuring its proper calibration and integration into the manufacturing process.
- Improvement Initiatives: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to automation systems to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance reports, and any modifications made to the automation systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as manufacturing engineers, production teams, and IT, to ensure the automation systems meet the operational needs and company standards.
- Training: Provide training and support to other team members on the operation and maintenance of automation equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all automation activities comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Associate's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in automation or robotics are a plus & a keen understanding of automation systems, including PLCs, robotics, and motion control systems.
