We are a leading manufacturer providing sheet metal fabrication and machining services for a wide variety of industries. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Shipping/Receiving Team Leader.
In this role, you'll work alongside our Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to lead and supervise our warehouse team and drivers. Your mission? To ensure that every item is meticulously prepared, shipped, and received on time, all while adhering to our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee order pulling and packaging procedures for both domestic and international shipments. Manage the shipment of raw parts to our valued external suppliers. Ensure our warehouse operations run smoothly by implementing effective procedures for packaging supplies, raw materials, and finished goods. Supervise the receiving process for parts and raw materials from our external suppliers. Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and direction to our dedicated team of drivers, shipping clerks, receiving clerks, and shipping admin. Take ownership of all metrics and team performance, ensuring we meet and exceed industry standards.

Primary Responsibilities:
Shipping
- Inspect and approve packaging for customer shipments via UPS, FedEx, and other carriers.
- Ensure finished goods orders meet quality standards.
- Manage pallet program and optimize driver routes.
- Ensure timely shipment of "must ship" items.
- Establish shipping policies and maintain vehicle maintenance program.
- Maintain a safe working environment and collaborate with procurement.
- Oversee accuracy of raw material receiving and documentation.
- Supervise small package deliveries and raw material issuance to production.
- Manage scrap disposal and material handling equipment.
- Establish receiving and warehouse policies.
- Maintain accurate finished goods and raw material inventories.
- Coordinate cycle counts and perform inventory transactions.
- Establish inventory management policies.
