Operating a Forklift: Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and goods within a facility, ensuring that loads are handled carefully and efficiently. Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks, shelves, or other storage areas, as well as assist with moving materials to different areas as required. Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory by using forklift to move materials to appropriate locations, and assist with inventory counts as needed. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a safe working environment. Maintenance and Inspection: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the forklift to ensure it is in proper working order, reporting any issues to supervisors. Organization: Assist in organizing storage areas, shelves, and aisles for efficient access and retrieval of materials. Communication: Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and movements, and to report any safety concerns or operational issues. Documentation: Maintain records of inventory movement, such as documenting which items are moved and where they are placed. Adherence to Policies: Follow company policies and procedures, including reporting accidents or incidents promptly and adhering to quality and safety standards. Teamwork: Work as part of a team to ensure efficient and smooth operations, including assisting with other tasks as needed.
