Responsible for wearing appropriate PPE and following all safety policies and practices.
Ensure work area is kept clean and organized
Sets up, adjusts and checks out programming, and operates numerically controlled machines to produce parts according to blueprint specifications.
Works from programming instructions, operational data and machine setup instructions to define and code tool arrangements, machine calibrations and console settings.
Routinely checks parts for conformance to specifications.
May run several machines simultaneously.
Ability to follow written instructions (VA's) and read blueprint specifications, or equivalent
Working hours: 1st and 2nd Shift
Three or more years' experience operating and programming CNC equipment in a sheet metal or wire bending environment.
G-Code experience required!
Knowledge of basics of secondary production operations and maintenance of machines.
Factory experience preferred.
Basic shop training and/or mechanical background desired.
Forklift operation (will train if necessary).
High school diploma.
Trade School experience preferred.
Basic math skills required with ability to pass a basic mechanical test
