Consider this position as an Assistant Controller for a company focused on acquiring businesses each month across the nation to expand their footprint.
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing general accounting duties including preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated reporting for the board, maintenance of corporate scorecards and metrics, annual preparation of a consolidated budget, assist in the preparation of quarterly projections, annual tax return review, treasury administration, and assistance in due diligence and acquisition engagements.
This person will also be part of a team that creates and implements policies and procedures to identify, resolve and document accounting issues. Additionally, the Assistant Controller will create procedures to make the close and reporting processes more efficient and accurate. They will work closely with the CFO and Corporate Controller on all major projects.
- Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. The degree should be obtained from a well recognized university.
- 10+ years' experience in the accounting and finance sector.
- Big 4 or national accounting firm audit experience is preferred.
- CPA required.
