job summary: Great client is seeking a hands-on Laboratory Engineering Technician to support the development and testing of medical electronic systems. This role will assist engineering teams by building prototype assemblies, preparing test setups, executing documented test procedures, collecting data, and maintaining laboratory equipment and inventory. Candidates must have strong electronics troubleshooting skills, a proven track record with PCB-level soldering, comfort navigating software/firmware configuration tools, and practical mechanical lab experience APPLY TODAY! location: Wilmington, Massachusetts job type: Contract salary: $33 - 36 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates responsibilities: Assemble prototype systems, development kits, cables, and test fixtures from engineering documentation.Build, configure, and maintain engineering test setups and laboratory equipment.Execute test protocols and accurately document test results.Support software loading, firmware updates, and system configuration using documented procedures.Use laboratory equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies to perform measurements and testing.Identify, document, and communicate issues observed to engineering teams.Support engineers with investigation and debug activities by collecting data, reproducing issues, and executing directed test procedures.Maintain inventory of components, supplies, and laboratory equipment.
