Work Schedule: B shift from 5:45 AM - 6:15 PM. location: Melrose Park, Illinois job type: Contract salary: $20.00 - 22.86 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Perform intermediate-level microbiological test methods, data review, and instrumentation management across core QC functional groups. Conduct environmental monitoring, sampling (water systems, compressed gas, personnel), and complete ISO Class 5 gowning certification. Execute routine testing of in-process samples, finished products, raw materials, and validate microbiological test methods. Assist in authoring basic investigative studies (OOS, OOT, OOL) and update SOPs or Methods of Analysis to ensure strict compliance. Perform peer review of laboratory data for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to cGMP, GLP, and company specifications. Mentor and coordinate the training of laboratory techniques and modules for new analysts. qualifications: Required: Bachelor of Science degree in a biological science. 1 to 3 years of progressive microbiology laboratory experience. Solid working knowledge of cGMPs, GLPs, and current compendial methods. Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and data cross-functional collaboration. Ability to meet physical demands of a wet lab, including prolonged standing/walking and fine motor handling.
