An Automation and Industry 4.0 Manager is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Malvern, PA area. This role entails leading the development and execution of the CertainTeed Roofing Automation and Industry 4.0 strategy, managing a multidisciplinary team, and implementing cutting-edge automation solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and drive business results.

responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to modernize obsolete motion, controls, and automation hardware and software for machines and processes.
- Establish a robust plc and firmware backup strategy.
- Assess gaps in culture, knowledge, and utilization.
- Champion the FaCTory + program implementation.
- Identify and monitor key measures to ensure project success.
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and propose system improvements.
- Support the discovery, review, and alignment of initiatives to strategic objectives.

- Experience with robotics, AI, and machine learning.

- 5+ years of engineering experience in an industrial environment.
