Randstad is supporting a manufacturing company who is in search of hiring an Office Manager for their office in Portland. The primary focus of the role is to provide accounting, office, and workforce planning support for a recycling plant. You may supervise a staff of clerical or administrative support employees who perform a variety of related functions. Through a combination of accounting, clerical and people skills, you will also ensure the office is well maintained and employees at all levels of the organization are informed and supported. Responsibilities

• Works closely with Area Controller to ensure financial data is accurate and timely: includes activities such as journal entries, budget preparation, financial reporting.
• Maintains all employee and financial files, in accordance with company's regulations. Maintains standards of documentation, record-keeping and reporting as prescribed by corporate and division policies.
• Coordinates, and performs business support such as processing and monitoring of accounts payable and receivable, shipping and receiving, order receipt and entry.
• Responsible for preparation and distribution of routine and standardized reports and correspondence.
• Performs or assists in month-end closing.
