Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage appointment calendars.
- Verify patient information, insurance eligibility, and collect necessary co-payments or fees.
- Maintain patient records by accurately entering and updating demographic and insurance information into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Assist with patient registration and check-in processes, ensuring all required forms are completed accurately.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow and address any scheduling conflicts or issues.
- Respond to patient inquiries, providing information about services, office policies, and procedures.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, faxes, and emails.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and front desk.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
