Responsibilities
- Works with the Regional HR Manager on employee relations, engagement, recruitment, benefits, and training
- Aligns HR actions with plant leadership goals.
- Manages documentation, administrative processes, and communication.
- Ensures accurate employee information in Workday (HRIS)
- Collaborates with plant leadership on staffing needs and budgets.
- Manages the recruiting portal and conducts interviews.
- Oversee contract labor.
- Leads onboarding and orientation.
- Connects with new hires in their first three months to ensure engagement.
- Resolves personnel issues with the Regional HR Manager
- Manages disciplinary processes and handles terminations, including exit interviews.
- Improves training and development plans for hourly associates, ensuring clear competency expectations.
- Manages training grants and ensures reimbursements.
- Participates in improving HR systems, including reporting and performance tracking.
- Assists with payroll processing and supports audits
