Responsibilities
- Proficient at interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong working relationships with all departments within the business.
- Ability to prioritize First Piece and Final Inspections to ensure manufacturing operations and shipping functions meet internal and customer schedules.
- Provide feedback pertaining to inspection results to the manufacturing function for the purpose of improving process or product.
- Inspect, test, or measure material or product being received or produced.
- Proficient in the use of measurement hand tools such as scales, calipers, micrometers, gauges
- Proficient in the use of inspection equipment such as Optical Comparators, Spring Force Testers, and Rockwell Hardness.
- Identify all material or product that fails to meet specifications.
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for the product.
- Report inspection and test data.
