Responsibilities
The role entails the following:
- inspecting, sampling, and testing products and materials to meet company and customer standards
- Documenting results, counting products tested, and weighing materials.
- Monitoring production to ensure compliance with standards, placing non-conforming items on hold, and communicating issues.
- Writing non-conformance reports and performing additional assigned duties are also part of the responsibilities.
- Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year quality experience in a manufacturing facility preferred
- Availability during operating hours with consistent attendance
- Understanding of quality control standards and inspection techniques
- Basic computer skills with experience in data entry in such applications as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Asana, etc.
- Detail oriented with basic technical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
