Month-end Close Processes: Conducting activities necessary for the monthly closing of financial records and ensuring timely preparation and submission of required financial reports to support senior leadership. Reconciliation: Regularly reconciling subsidiary accounts to ensure balance in assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses. Controls and Compliance: Assisting in the development and maintenance of effective financial controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Collaboration: Working with the accounting team and other departments to ensure accuracy of entries, timely payments to vendors, effective collections, and collaboration on financial analysis and process improvement. Financial Analysis: Reviewing and analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and improve internal controls. Variance Analysis: Preparing and/or reviewing explanations for monthly variances to understand deviations from expected financial outcomes.
