job summary: A leading, global manufacturer of electronic components is looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for working from maintenance manuals, drawings, electrical prints and follow preventive maintenance program. Responsibilities also include working with chemicals, high voltage, and hazardous gas bottle changes while adhering to all safety methods and policies while supporting Lean and 6S philosophies by continuously implementing Fab improvements and refining the procedures and standardizations of preventive maintenance specifications. location: Allen, Texas job type: Permanent salary: $39,000 - 40,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: Equipment Technician Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Equipment Technician will be responsible for working from maintenance manuals, drawings, electrical prints and follow preventive maintenance program. About the Job: Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. (70%) Assist engineers as they create, modify, and test products and processes. (10%) Conducts tests and collects data. (10%) Complies with all established procedures to ensure safety, equipment and accuracy of results. (10%) Other duties as assigned. About You: High School Diploma required. Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering a plus.
