The Machine Builder plays a critical role in the assembly and integration of custom automated machinery. This position is responsible for building high-quality mechanical systems and subassemblies by interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with industrial equipment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams—including engineers, electricians, and technicians—to deliver reliable, production-ready systems. This role supports the full machine build lifecycle, including assembly, installation, troubleshooting, and testing, ensuring all equipment meets design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. A strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement are essential to success in this fast-paced manufacturing environment.salary: $19 - $22 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 5 AM - 2 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Assemble custom automated machinery, subassemblies, and mechanical components based on engineering drawings, schematics, and layouts Interpret blueprints, schematics, CAD drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions Install and align mechanical systems including conveyors, pneumatics, actuators, and structural frames Perform drilling, tapping, fitting, and general fabrication as needed Assist with integration of electrical components such as sensors, motors, and control panels Install and field wire electrical components and devices.
