job summary: The position is for a D365 Business Central Functional Consultant to support the D365 Business Central system. The D365 Business Central Functional Consultant is a specialist role and acts as an interface between the Finance team and IT department. This position provides subject matter expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders in the areas of finance data, business systems, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This position requires an experienced, business systems analyst and administrator that uses advanced Microsoft Dynamics 365 and accounting competence and tools to provide financial systems support, project management support, month-end close management, financial reports, and issue resolution to internal and external stakeholders at various levels. The D365 Business Central Functional Consultant role is to analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of the Finance stakeholders to improve the finance system. This includes gathering and compiling user requirements to understand the technology solutions they need. Job duties include reviewing policies, identifying risks, making systems more efficient, creating training materials for new employees, and streamlining financial processes using financial technology. They will also utilize best practices and methodologies to design, configure, implement, support, and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system.
